1. UK Sounds | AudioDope Mixtape

“No rest for the wicked,” the saying goes.

On the heels of “Overture,” I was asked to put together a mix for the celebrated AudioDope podcast, run by Mike “All Night” Long. Mike is, frankly, one of the real OGs of the Iowa house/EDM scene, and I leapt at the opportunity to be a part of this. The guy knows his stuff and knows it well. He’s the sort of guy we could use more of in our music scenes back stateside, to be honest. He runs a hell of a blog in AudioDope, too. There’s a VAULT of fantastic (free) music to be had at his site.

This mix is a bet less frantic than “Overture,” but still hard-hitting. It’s composed of one session of UKG/house/electro and one of outright dubstep. Originally two separate sets that I did to explore a “UK” sound, I decided to combine them to make one big mix that speaks to my more recent influences.
